Climate Cafe Meeting Information

The Climate Café meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7.00pm to 8.30pm

Next Meeting: Wednesday 18 November

Items for Discussion:

Keith Skene will give an online talk on November 9th starting at 7.00 p.m..

The talk is entitled "Resolving the climate emergency: why societal and
environmental sustainability are interdependent".

Keith will talk about the crisis facing humanity and what we can do. He argues that climate change, social inequalities, pandemics and biodiversity loss are  inseparable issues.

The interaction between landscape and society, be it in a rural context or
an urban one, forms the key, and he will explore ways in which we can achieve
sustainable goals.

This way of thinking paves the way for sustainable approaches and practices.

After the talk, there will be a Q&A session.
